When I visited the business Shanna (pretty girl with long blonde hair) greeted us with such a friendly, welcoming smile. This review is “grab a drink and a light snack” long - so Cliff’s notes version is that I’m writing it because of how impressed I was by Shanna Fraser. And now for the colour commentary: I’ve been batting around the idea of potentially building a new home for a while now, but I’ve avoided actually doing anything about it because it’s just so overwhelming. Plus, as a rule, I harbour a strong distaste for salespeople. They can be so pushy and disingenuous. And even the ones that don’t actively give off “greasy used car salesmen energy” still make me anxious in a  situation like this because: 1. I know precisely nothing about new homes 2. Even if I did possess a modicum of knowledge - I still don’t know what the $@&%  I actually want 3. Even if I possessed knowledge AND knew what I was looking for - I still don’t know if I’m ready rn. Then one day I stumbled upon an Alquinn showhome and decided on the spur of the moment to just go in, try to look as unapproachable as possible and repeat “thanks I’m just looking” like a mantra. Enter Shanna. She has the most lovely energy - so much so that I completely forgot about my passive aggressive deterrence plan. She was open and approachable without being pushy; knowledgeable, insightful and helpful without house-splaining at me or overwhelming me; and she engaging, friendly and professional without causing some part of me to wonder if/when she was planning to try and sell me the Tupperware or sign me up to an MLM scheme. I don’t know what kind of witchcraft she employed, but I found myself taking a tour of the home and actually kinda getting into it. Like I’m kinda excited about the prospect of building a home now. Am I actually gonna pull the trigger? I don’t know! Do I know when I might be ready?  Sure don’t! But what I do know is - Shanna helped me have a really positive first foray into the world of home building, and I’m a hell of a lot closer to moving forward with it now than I was before my impromptu showhome tour with her. I went and looked at a bunch of show homes with Lisa recently and she was so accommodating. She was extremely knowledgeable and was truly interested in what my needs were and finding me something that met those needs. There was no rush and no pressure to make any decisions instantly. She was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and always took the time to answer our questions without ever making us feel pressured. I’m considering moving to Fort Sask and found Shanna Fraser on IG. I am blown away by her knowledge of the area and the homes I am interested in. This is the biggest purchase of my life and working with Shanna is easing my stress levels. I really appreciate the time she has taken to answer my questions and get back to me quickly. My husband and I were dealing with Marissa for all of our questions about new homes and quick possessions. She was incredibly informative with all of our questions and has been super patient with us.
