Alquinn Homes has partnered with Master Craftsman Warranty to provide service and warranty solutions to its clients for the first year in their new home.

Master Craftsman has almost 40 years experience in providing warranty and service solutions to the homebuilding industry.

The first year

After taking possession of your new Alquinn Home, Master Craftsman will be your first-year service and warranty provider. They will contact you directly to provide you with an orientation of what to expect during this first year of ownership. They will also be your sole point of contact for any questions, concerns or warranty/service items that you may have in your home.

Warranty Inquiries

Every homeowner must complete a Warranty Appointment Form for all general warranty inquires, 6-month warranty request and one-year warranty request. Once this service request is received by Master Craftsman, their warranty service department will contact you directly to arrange an appointment.

The type of information provided on this form will determine whether an inspection will be required prior to scheduling a service technician or if trades can be scheduled for the appointment. Photographs are very helpful to determine if further inspection or other trades may be required.

Please note: Once the warranty request form is received and scheduled, no additional items will be accepted. New items will be moved to your 6-month or 1-year warranty review. Items will be deemed warrantable according to the Alberta New Home Warranty Guidelines provided through Progressive Home Warranty. Maintenance indicates a homeowner responsibility.

The mid-year warranty appointment typically consists of moving parts such as door handles, hinges, loose carpet, etc. Painting of repairs is not included.

Warranty or Courtesy indicates a builder responsibility. Maintenance indicates a homeowner responsibility. (Determined by the builder as per Standard Warranty Guidelines provided by Progressive Home Warranty.)
